Do you even know the Montreal flag looks like? http://www.webing.fr/pub/data/quebec200 ... ntreal.jpg

I think it tells allot about Montreal... Nordiques fans are the seperatist bastards, too bad the Nordiques died a long time ago PDT_Armataz_01_25

And if Forsburg does sign up with the Sens, i think we got our selves a team that could bring back the cup home to Canada. :)

It means rapid [rapids]. As in rivers.
Forsberg would then be; rapid mountain, or more accurately, mountain rapids.

EDIT: When I come to think of it.. It's a rather accurate description of his game aswell.

Yes, crudely translated. More accurately it would be "mountain rapids".
I'm sure there are a lot of north americans with swedish names.

One thing I have trouble understanding is that Swedish is a Germanic language and I dont't understanding how Forsberg is translated into a mountain, rapid at that.

The Nordiques aren't dead. It's alive and well in it's fans. Nordiques will always be my nr. 1 team above all else. Always. I still watch some of their vintage games on my comp. and now and then I flip through my album filled with hockey cards depicting my white and blue heroes. There's Ron Tugnut.. and oh! There's Mats Sundin and Joe Sakic. Peter Forsberg, Ian Frasier, Owen Nolan, Jocelyn Thibault, Scot Young.. or was that Colorado? Oh, well...
It's with the Nordiques that I learned to despise the Habs.

Ummm how so? You're asking me that? You're the one translating. English is a germanic language,is there any translation for berg in english? I haven't seen any. Forsberg? How is that rapid mountain?

English is not germanic. And I'm finding it hard to follow your logic. I didn't mean to sound disrespectful.

Actually, english is germanic. Where do you think the english language came from friend?. This should be good.

What I need to know is how Forsberg is translated into mountains and valley's and rivers....
