Still way to early to predict, but I'll disagree with you on the Western Conference top two team. No way will Anaheim be a top two team, their goalie situation is questionable at the moment, so unless Giguere can pull out a miracle season like a few years ago, forget about it. I just don't see them changing much stat-wise from last season. Edmonton will probably be a good contender again this season, as well as Nashville. Both have some skilled players. The Flames could pull it out as well.

Besides some sick undying unwaving loyalty to a teamthat hasn't done fuck all in 40 some years ( Since Expansion) What reasoning do you have for making that claim?... The leafs put some goals on the board. last game... wow plan the parade route... WTF? Past Sundin, Wellwood (who as a player I like) and Maybe a couple of Glimpses of brilliance by Stajan.. The PP heroics of McCabe and Kaberle... Where are the goals supposed to come from?, where is the D that supposed to stop the Bleeding? Where is the goaltending you need?
McCabe, Kaberle, Kubina? Gill? colliacivo? ( when his heads on straight) these are your go to +/- veterans who will do what?..
.. Goaltending you have Raycroft who's probably good for 28 wins.. Aubin who's good for maybe 15 W's.. over an 82 game schedule they need 95+ points to get into the playoffs comfortably.. I just don't see them capable of near 100pts... I barely see them breaking 80+...
