As a side note, aside from the NEP, what is your assessment of Trudeau being the "worst" Canadian? Conrad Black openly renounces his citizenship because Canada is a backwater dump but hightails it back here everytime people in other countries learn his shit stinks.

I am really sick of people in Alberta bashing Trudeau because he made decisions that were in the best interest of the COUNTRY rather than poor old Alberta.

Don't get me wrong, I'm Albertan, born and raised, but I believe that Trudeau is one of the most influential and truly intelligent Prime Ministers that we have ever had. And probably will never see the likes of again.

Who else would have handled the FLQ crisis??? Probably no one. Where would we be without our Charter of Rights and Freedoms? Okay, so the Meech Lake accord was a disaster, but on a whole he has done much more for us.

Take out the years that he wasn't prime minister and pretend that Canada had kept going on the course it was. Where would the country be now?
