Just found this last night and thought I'd share. I'm highly skeptical of Brand. I mean crime has done nothing but drop for decades while our quality of life has done nothing but rise and I'm meant to believe some grand revolution is at play.

Personally I think he's full of hippie nonsense but I'd be curious to see what you all think of the man.

I like him. I think he's got some great points too, but he's wrong on others.

If the political system is letting down an entire class of people and those people aren't voting because they see the current system doesn't represent them - not voting is the wrong thing to do. Election night are turning into a contest to see how few people can turn out to vote.

Start a political movement to appeal to these people, and get them out to vote. Not voting is inaction disguised as action.

I don't much agree with him either, though he is thought-provoking to listen too. Not a "trivial man" as Paxton refers to him.
