I’m not sure why you would want to go to Toronto?

“I have one more question.

How much money in U.S. dollars would I need to live in Toronto for thirty days?

Would $3000 - $3500 be enough for clubs, cinema, and etc?”

AD work on the idea of about $30 a day for food and probably $50 a day for nightlife (clubs, partying)

$30 x 30 = $900 + $50 x 30(days) = $1500

$1500 + $900= $2400

So your estimate of $3000-$3500 seems good

But why Toronto. Calgary is a great place. Lots of Ukranian canadians in Edmonton and Winnipeg. Halifax and Vancouver are beautiful.

What you should do if you are coming over here is explore the country. We are massive... but what you can do is take a flight to Halifax and get a Can Rail pass ( railroad) that will take you across the country.. Halifax to vancouver.. you can get off the train and spend nights in various cities... www.via.ca ( national passenger rail service)

Goodluck when you come to Canada...

Oh we don't have beavers as pets.. ( silly commercials) the term Beaver does is in fact used in reference to a women's sexual privates.. (Vagina etc). On an average night.. "May I kiss your beaver ?'may get your face slapped a couple of times.. but you might actually get someone who is willing.. especially in the clubs..( Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver)lol

Same but in Russian: no i9nternational translator service for Ukrainian.

(vagina etc). специально в clubs..($$ET-montreal, toronto, Vancouver)lol

Canrailpass.. becuase you are 17 you may be able to get discounts on travel.

The Canrailpass is your ticket to unlimited travel in Canada. It's the perfect choice if you want to go a long way on a limited budget ! You get 12 days of unlimited travel in Comfort class (Economy) during a 30-day period.

The card can be used anywhere VIA goes, from the Atlantic to the Pacific, and up to Hudson Bay. Just show your Canrailpass each time you obtain a ticket for a trip during this 30-day period.

Best of all, you can make as many stops as you like during your journey. Plus, you can add up to three extra days' travel, which you can buy in advance or at any time during the 30-day validity period. Which means 13, 14 or 15 days' worth of unlimited travel !

My grand parents were born and raised in Ukraine my dad was born here in Canada and my mom was born in an area that is now Poland.

Cool...Maybe i know your grandmother or father...=)

I heard many times that many ukranians go to Canada in 1912-1917, before red revolution. And after USSR in 1991-1994 many people go to USA and Canada...

For example in 1990 in Ukraine 52millions people, in 2002 - 48millions..

More than 4million people..)

yea, inbetween 1912 and 1917 a relatively large number went to grand forks, BC. Other then that I dunno much about Ukrainian immigrants.

I know more about the local Russians, who say that they chose to live here over American because they like us better... Weren't we all enemies back in the cold war? :(
