I really don't know if that's supposed to be an insult or not but it does point out one glaring truth.

You definitely missed out on the Canadian Navy part of history during classes.

I was in the post-unification Navy.

Yes, I DID know that but I'm a old guy and I served under the tri-services version of the white ensign. You must be an even older guy.
