Once upon a time people from New Zealand could just move to Canada and not have to go through the entire 'immigration' process. Which island are do you hail from and what part of Canada are you looking to move to? Victoria is comparable to Christchurch for size, scenery, culture and climate.

Thanks for the welcomes everyone. I am in the north island in Auckland and we are looking at Edmonton although that may change lol.

And as for sheep - well I never really considered using my pet sheep for meat or wool ... they are there to keep the grass short.
