Erinites Erinites:
THIS THREAD IS ABOUT A GREAT WIFE... NOT A DAMNED CAR!!!....

YOU CAN RIDE IN THE CAR BUT IT AIN'T GONNA HAVE DINNER READY FOR YA...

If you had actually READ my threads, you would have read...

porscheboxster2001 porscheboxster2001:
I myself just got re-married for the second time in June of this year to my BEST (female) friend!!!

porscheboxster2001 porscheboxster2001:
AND my new wife is sooooooooo awesome that she's even letting me talk about getting one of the new 911's!!!

porscheboxster2001 porscheboxster2001:
I have an AWESOME wife... and I would never trade her in for anything else... she is my soul mate!

So as you can see Erinites ... I think about and LOVE my wife first and foremost!!! PLUS my wife is a very sexy Italian who can cook like nobodies business... so dinner is never a problem!?
My love of fine German Engineering just happens to come in a very close second! R=UP

18 years is impressive....kudos to you

....but 'stagnant'? that doesn't exactly inspire one to run to the altar :)

psst: 3 years for me, and stagnant.
I feel it's my fault, can anyone make any suggestions?
(spend less time on the internet might be one of them.)

It's my first and we've been married for 13 years, prior to that we lived together for four. We've seen friends divorce an remarry during this time. They were people who were more in love with the idea of being married than being in love with the people they were married to. They should make divorce eassier but getting married harder. My aunt ansd uncle , who've been married since 1966 are in the process of getting a divorce. Seems sort of silly and it's real ugly.

Does common-law count? If so, then 2 years.

By the way RH, the fact that you made a thread basically dedicated to your wife.... makes me wanna.... well not cry, but she's a lucky gal. 8)

'Stagnant' is when the initial spark that fuled the "fires" has dissipated.

Takes two to make a marriage work.
Sometimes.. couples just get into a rut/routine, then complacency sets in.
This is when "Stagnancy" sets in.

Routines and expectations are what kill most marriages.

Some may suggest "A torrid Affair"...( You know who you are... and ty  )
But it is the lack of small niceties which are detrimental to a succesful marriage... If ya'll expect dinner to be on the table when you come home h from work, the laundry done, etc... ever sat back to think for a second that reciprocating would be nice?

Works both ways for couples.

Just my 2 cents.

My wife asked me once if I'd ever have an affair. I told her one pain in the ass was all I could manage at one time.......and she was it. That seems to have cured her of silly questions on the topic......as if I'd tell her. 8O
