Police in Edmonton have arrested a child molester wanted for the assaults on several youg girls in Edmonton schools.Johnathan Quinn Lewis was questioned and released after an 8 year old girl was assaulted in a washroom in Oliver Elementary School in April 2006.Police said they 'didn't have enough proof' but followed him closely for a period of time afterwards.
In January of this year two young girls were assaulted, again in a washroom, in Victoria school. The perpetrator, matching Lewis' description, got away. Later he attacked a young girl as she was entering her yard at home.Fortunately, her screams scared him away.
On Friday, staff at Coronation elementary stopped Lewis and questioned him as to why he was wandering the hallways of their school. He stated that he was 'looking for a 'place for his daughter'. Then took off. Staff called police and Lewis was arrested nearby. Police have confirmed that he is the person they have been looking for in regards to all the attacks. It has also been confirmed that Lewis was released from jail after serving time for similar offences after 'it was determined that he no longer posed a threat'!!! WTF is going on here?Our system has failed our children, miserabley. Heads should roll over this!

We had an 8 year old boy killed here in Holland in December, the day before Sinterklaas (feast of presents for the kids), in school, he was stabbed to death. It is really horrible.

I read in the newspaper today, that only the UK and Ireland are more violent in Europe. Holland is third.
