Ok,you have all seen the ads for "happy periods"on TV right?

It's for the poor girls in africa who miss 3 school days when they have their period and no protection.
So for every Tampon you buy a few cents is donated to the tampon fund for African girls. So they dont miss school for lack of a pad and leakage.

When I first saw the ad on tv I thought....holy fuck! No way you can portray a period on a gal as being happy.

Where do they get these marketers?
What are they teaching people in university to come up with lame ass ads like this?

So they use African kids to sell their products,pretty lame and I hope it backfire's on them.

Besides... I remember a couple of times as a teen that I was very happy to get my period.

Yeah, unless you are lying in your bed for 3 days, cramping, splitting headaches so you can't see straight and leaking and making a mess so you have to change 6 times a day because 'the happy period'-stuff don't do what they say they should...
