So, I'm expecting a baby in july. Gf and I have a shortlist of girls names and I don't expect to have too much trouble agreeing on one when the time comes. Boy's names... well that'sa whole other story. I like Viggo, but she thought I was joking and refused to discuss it when she realized I wasn't lol

Now I'm trying to think of a famous canadian that I admire to name my potential son after, but all my favorites have such boring names. John, Arthur. Or names that I just couldn't inflict on my son. Lester, Leonard.

Would greatly appreciate any ideas. I just ask that none be too french. Gf is french and I refuse to give her that satisfaction.

Bonus points to anyone who can guess which 4 canadians I used as examples.

Sir John A. Arthur Currie. Lester Pearson. Leonard Cohen.

Lester Pearson's nickname was Mike.

If you like Trudeau how about Elliot?

T.P. (which of course is shorthand for "Transfer Payment". Hey, meet my son, Transfer Payment McGillicudy, but we just call him T.P.. Only five years old and he's already talking about a future as a in-the-shadows type with either the Liberal party or the Mafia. Talk about a real go-getter!).
