Talk of a divided Ukraine where the east joins with russia once again.

I've been saying that for years, and the term 'Tory' derived from the Irish word for 'outlaw', which the CPC definitely are not. I also disagree that the Reform movement is a bad thing; the underlying principals they were built on are still there. They've just been abandoned by the CPC.

Well thats quite possible, the abandoned aspect.
But really now, the present tories are not tories at all, they are an inept bunch of people who have really good spin doctors and a huge swath of people so brain washed into ignoring anything other than Tory propaganda they can do nothing wrong in their party faithful .

The liberals carved out canada, the banking system flaherty brags about was made in stone by chretien when people wanted to go the way of the wall street rules.
so much emphasis is on harper this and harper that, when mostly he is only a good haircut and can read speeches made by spin doctors well.

as for the genius reference . You do realize the conservatives never won an election only got in when the liberals lost one.

The Reform was formed by the same mentality as rene Leveques and his cronies.
It was born in the west in much the same way the Parti Quebecois was formed in Quebec…be honest …
Preston was a political genius, one has to give the man his due…
He single handedly in spite of a somewhat racist group of red necks formed a viable party.
