I gave up on Timmies mainly because of piss poor customer service, but the food isn't much better. Downhill slide for pretty much everything they sell now. It used to be awesome going there for some donuts/timbits/breakfast/etc. but is not even worth it anymore.

I won't even go there for iced cappuccino anymore. A local restaurant has something similar that is better (albeit a little more expensive), as well as killer milkshakes!

I remember when Dunkin' Donuts donuts were good, then they stopped making them on site so I switched to Timmies until they stopped making them on site. Now I don't eat donuts anymore, which is probably a good thing.

Whatever happened to Country Style? Their coffee was decent, the donuts were good, and thet used to be everywhere. Now, you hardly see Country Style, and when you do find one, it's awful.

They are still around, but a shadow of what they used to be. It's too bad, Country Style used to be great and I preferred them to Tim Horton's even back when Tim Horton's still made their doughnuts fresh onsite.

I ate at one in 2013 when I visited Ontario, but it wasn't as good as I remembered it in the past.

Tim Horton's pretty much neutralized (if not wiped out) most of their chain competitors, from Robin's Donuts to Sir Donut to Country Style. While my tastebuds hate it, my waistline recognizes it as a good thing.

I rarely buy coffee out nowadays, and if I do, it's a Blonde Roast or Pike's Peak from Starbucks (sorry) if I desperately need a fix. We're talking maybe twice a year at MOST.
