This one's from Michelle Malkin.

$1:
The Duke rape case the MSM won’t cover

It’s truly monstrous and evil.

But you won’t see wall-to-wall coverage on MSNBC or in the New York Times.

The alleged rapist is a prominent gay health researcher at Duke University.

The victim is his own adopted, five-year-old son, whom he offered up on the Internet to other molesters.

Thomas Lifson and Mike Adams do the job the selective media won’t do.

Source

Here's a bit from the Adams article...

$1:
The Associate Press (AP) did not mention the fact that the five-year old offered up for molestation was black. Bringing that fact to light might be damaging to the political coalition that exists between blacks and gays. Nor did the AP mention that the adopted child is being raised by a homosexual couple. Bringing that fact to light might harm the gay adoption movement.

So what's your point? It's therefore not true? I disagree.

Actually, you're wrong when you say the Mike Adams Townhall.com one is a blog anyway. It's in the columinists section, not the blog section. Click it. Check it out.

Finally a Gay man gets caught with a Kid. I suppose that's reason to make a big deal out of this?

What a pathetic attempt to Politicize a tragedy.

Maybe, or maybe it's more like "Finally a Gay man gets caught with a Kid", and we actually hear about it.

Anybody got any mainstream media links to this story? In fact does mainstream now translate into PC, or orthodox news?

No, and you won't find any because this is a steaming turd of a story that won't get picked up. And the reason why is that it's, in typical far right fashion, trying to collerlate pedophilia with homosexuality; a corellation that doesn't exist.

You do remember don't you, Duke was the setting for that story where the university kids were supposed to have raped the black prostitute. That was all over the news. It turned out they were innocent. So why is this story at the same Duke university not considered newsworthy?

Yes, and I remeber the media getting nicely burned when the true story finally came out and Nancy Grace had to go run and hide her head in shame. That's probably part of the reason; they got burned once, and they're avoiding the place just in case. Plus my above reason.

People get caught, arrested, convicted, and sentenced of such crimes nearly daily. You can't expect every such case to make the "MSM". Just like Auto Accidents, Gang Shootings, Domestic Violence, yadda yadda ya.

I'm not going to cry out that there's a conspiracy, but this does seem newsworthy.

I think the news is PC-ified. I don't think it's a good thing. I'll give you another example which may, or may not be true. It may be colored by my personal viewing.

I used to watch Global news. In my area there are a lot of mushroom farms. The farm workers are, or at least were largely what were once referred to as East Indians. The term was then changed to Southeast Asians, but apparently this term was thought to not be PC enough, so now if you are forced to notice race it is South Asians.

So, these South Asian mushroom farms ferried their workers about in buses. For awhile it was becoming very evident these buses were becoming involved in a lot of vehicle accidents. Then boom...all of a sudden the names of the drivers, or the owners of the farms, or bus service were not mentioned. Slowly this practice of not mentioning names of certain ethnicities spread. It's at a point now where if they don't immediately give you a name of a person involved with certain stories I just assume their Asian. I'm right more than I'm wrong. A lot more.

Am I a bigot, or am I just better informed than the average guy? You have one opinion. I have another.

One thing I'm pretty much sure of. If I'm correct about that it illustrates the practice of PC-ifying the news creates inaccurate perceptions, and it's not unreasonable to wonder how far it could go.

This is in regular news also. I guess this is just another example of the "real news" being a little slow on the uptake.

$1:
A Duke University official has been charged in federal court with offering his 5-year-old adopted son up for sex. Frank Lombard, associate director of the Center for Health Policy, was arrested Wednesday in Raleigh, the FBI said.

Pretty straight forward to me............it's Michelle Malkin's blog and not a mainstream news source. Also according to her, it's "alleged" yet by posting in her Blog she has the leeway to convict him before the courts have.
"The alleged rapist is a prominent gay health researcher at Duke University."

http://news.google.ca/news?um=1&ned=ca& ... Lombard%22

347 links online to it.

To me it is just the kind of case the talk shows would normally be be obsessed with, but aren't. There are some seriously alarming issues, like his stating to the cop, that he should adopt a black kid, because no one gives a shit about adopted black boys.

If that doesn't qualify for federal civil rights charge on top of the interstate charge, I don't know what would.

In the chat transcript, WRAL reports, “F.L.” is asked how he got access to a child so young. “Adopted,” he replied, and said that the process was “not so hard … esp (sic) for a black boy.”

Lombard also bragged to the detective that “the abuse of the child was easier when the child was too young to talk or know what was happening, but that he had drugged the child with Benadryl during the molestation,” according to the detective’s affidavit.
