Unfortunately I have to agree with you. I have only gotten involved in a few serious/political threads and people always go off the deep end. People do not seem to be able to have an intelligent discussion without bringing in personal insults. I dont understand why a discussion cannot be had without people's ego's being involved and a winner being found. This forum startet out as a discussion forum about Canada and what make's it great,not a forum devoted to game's,so maybe it would be a good idea to put the game's in it's own section so that the new's of the day can be discussed by those on here that want to discuss it. Then when someone like zoraja posts to every single forum game it wont show up on the main page where the new's/topics should be.

Honestly now,you cant even post a new's topic without it getting buried by the "games".

Wow sorry, I didnt mean to bother you. With 6 games threads though, new threads will still show inthe top ten even if I post in all of them. ANd even if it doesnt, so what if its on the next page, if people are lazy to look to the next page than they are probably too lazy to respond with anythign worthwhile.

Just a shame that people go to the trouble to post a topic with link's and lots of research and it get's bumped to the bottom in an hour because of the game's. Then no one get's to read them. Would it bother you zoraja if the games were out of site in their own section?

I think it would be a good idea, have a top 5 games recent postings thing jsut like the regular threads below the regular threads top ten. But then why not do it for more than just that, maybe somethign like the top three or five from all the highly posted subject areas because Im sure its not just politics and games.

Although seriouly, if people are not goign to read it because it is on the second page and they cannot press next, does it really matter if they read it at all?

It would be ideal if each member could pick and choose their "favourite topics" and only those would be shown in the recent posts lists. So if you don't want to see any game threads, you don't have to.

I agree with Canucker. I only post to one or two, but I read some of the others that are buried. A custom list would be great.

That wouldbe totally uber, Id like to be able to pick not specific threads but the sections within the site that would show up in the recent, but I think that shoudl be like your recent and then below it all the others, not including your own recent selections, in another box below it so you dont miss stuff you want.

I have a feeling that would be one very difficult mod to add to the site though.
