An excellent question. DD usually participates in discussions we have, offering his opinion. Nothing wrong with what he does. But he doesn't 'bring' anything new with him other than his point of view. He adds to what is already here.

But Fighter brings something new and different, making CKA a little bit better. He isn't trying to steer conversations, he brings about entirely new conversations. He is 'contributing'.

And I read the guidelines, and waited till he had 100+ posts before I nominated him.

Personally, I find my new buddy, Fighter to be kind of passive-aggressive (which admittedly is kind of a passive-aggressive thing to say ) and suspect he may have another agenda, but no probs there. These will just be fun things to reveal if shown to be correct. If I'm wrong there's some pretty pics of the less unsightly corners of Pakistan to look at.

So yeah, I look forward to Fighter's further contributions. Give the guy his medal.

He's spamming thing after thing about Pakistan, he talks in riddles, and his lack of substance makes me worry if even he knows if he's coming or going.

How you gonna judge us by isolated incidents? What you're saying is ridiculously funny and most of it is not true at all especially if you're thinking that all Pakistanis allow that or support that non sense.

And while some choose to be critical of the topic for not addressing political issues I choose to see it as a travelogue much like the amazing page that JJ put up about Canada some years ago.

I believe that our new friend from Pakistan deserves this recognition for creating and continuing to update a topic of great value to CKA.
