Hello all,
Can someone shed light for the preferred area of training? For example in the list there is Chemistry ( Bach +3years). I would like to know if all branches of chemistry are equally valid ( organic chemistry, physical chemistry, inorganic chemistry, analytical, electrochemistry, biochemistry, etc....)? Of all these fields which one is the preferred one in Quebec? Is there any detailed list of preferred area of training?
In advance thank you very much for sharing your knowledge/experience.

Teddy

Not quite sure exactly what you are asking. All the listed chemistry courses are equally valid. Preferred is a personal choice, ie I prefer to study organic chemistry to complement by degree in biology or I prefer to study inorganic chemistry to compliment my degree in geology.

Are you asking what education facilities offer the best curriculum in those disciplines or are you asking which specific chemistry disciplines are in more demand both in scholastic competition and in the workforce.

It sounds like you are asking what degrees are in more demand in Quebec.

Thanks Derby for taking the time to answer my question. Actually I am asking is a Bachelor degree in Organic chemistry will give 12points as well as a degree in physical chemistry or a degree in analytical chemistry in the evaluation process for selection of immigration to Quebec.
Once again thank you

If it is anything like the federal process, a bachelor degree is a bachelor degree, no matter in what.
They are only counting one, as far as I know. You can go to school for the rest of your life, but there is a limit to pointcount.
