Talking shit about the people who make his show barely tolerable isn’t a good look.

Here's a partial transcript of what Bill actually said, as opposed to some distorted nonsense from a woke site that's part of the Destroy Bill Maher coalition....

https://www.mediaite.com/podcasts/bill- ... youre-not/

$1:
Bill Maher shared his candid thoughts about the WGA writer’s strike and why he believes some of their demands are “kooky.”

Maher spoke with comedian Jim Gaffigan on Sunday’s edition of his podcast Club Random. The conversation began when Gaffigan shared his fear that the strike could usher in the end of late-night television.

“No knock on the guys who do it. I don’t know how this art form has survived up until now,” Maher said. “I mean, I understand why I’m on– because I’m on HBO. It’s an hour without commercials. And, I mean, sorry it’s a lot more entertaining. It’s a lot more edgy. It’s a lot more unpredictable. It’s true talk.”

Maher said it was hard to believe the late-night shows have survived in an age where everything is on demand while Gaffigan argued that the hosts have developed a relationship with the audience that keeps them coming back for their specific take on topics.

“It’s not a take. Those guys don’t have takes. I have takes. I have a take on things. What they do is say exactly what a liberal audience wants them to say about that,” Maher said. “That’s not a take.”

“There’s never a moment where you don’t know exactly, ‘Oh, this is the correct point of view on that.’ The strike is a perfect example. Those guys would never go back. This strike would go on till the 24th century. They would stay out,” Maher said.

Maher argued that there are other people besides the writers who are being hurt by the strike.

“I feel for my writers. I love my writers. I’m one of my writers. But there’s a big other side to it. And a lot of people are being hurt besides them. A lot of people don’t make as much money as them in this bipartisan world we have, where you’re just in one camp or the other? There’s no in between. You’re either for the strike like they’re fucking Che Guevara out there. You know, like this is Cesar Chavez lettuce-picking strike or you’re with Trump. You know, there’s no difference. There’s only two camps and it’s much more complicated than that,” Maher said.

Gaffigan agreed that it was a complicated topic but he agreed with some of the grievances.

“I do understand that they’re getting screwed a bit by the streamers. Yes,” Maher said.

As the conversation continued over what the writers are actually asking for, Maher said some of the demands are “kooky.”

“What I find objectionable about the philosophy of the strike, it seems to be they have really morphed a long way from 2007 strike where they kind of believe that you’re owed a living as a writer and you’re not. This this is showbusiness. This is a make or miss league,” Maher said.

Although he argued that a recalibration was needed, Maher said the writers went on strike at the wrong time because they have no leverage.

So it's actually a complicated issue with bad intentions on both side. And nowhere in the entertainment industry is a writer comparable to the old school sort of workers who used to get their heads caved in by company goons during strikes. It's been a sea change since those days and anyone who can't be bothered to acknowledge it shouldn't be listened to. If anything the two entertainment industry strikes are far more comparable to a players strike in a professional sports league, where it's millionaires vs billionaires over issues that mean absolutely nothing at all to the average person, like royalties or revenue sharing. This aren't the common persons unions, they're elitist associations where people with the most enviable lifestyles imaginable get to pretend they're among the great unwashed and downtrodden stuck in a coal mine or steel mill somewhere. Every single bit of this is bullshit. That anyone would fall for ever a second to the whining coming from the likes of Fran Drescher or Bryan Cranston is nothing less than astounding.

And the hardcore left-wing c***s on the The View were back at work today, with not a bit of sympathy for their fellow union travellers on display. Same too with all the late night talk show hosts, reliably providing on cue all the official California Uber Alles viewpoints as directed from Gavin Newsom's governors office. Bill Maher though, as part of the union, hasn't worked since the strike broke out months ago. And somehow he's the evil right-winger scabby strike breaking betrayer of The People (tm) in all of this in your opinions? Jesus fucking Christ, what world do you people around here actually live in anyway?

Odd, I don't recall Bill be a part of Strike force five. What exactly has Bill done for the writers again?

Money talks and Bill walks.

I'd like to wake up from all of this and find that the world created by people like you has been nothing but a nastier than usual nightmare. Unfortunately this abattoir of morality you slither through is all too real. And unfortunately real too is the destruction of any of the decent things that once stood so strong but are now collapsing into heaps of rubble all around us.

An old soul in a new world, one that's been fertilized & birthed by maniacs. This is not a fun way to spend the last decade or so of my life.

Every time your side gets another win I end up feeling the same way that anyone wearing eyeglasses in Phnom Penh in 1975 must have felt the day the Khmer Rouge rolled into town to start making things "better".

Ugh. You know you sound like the crank shouting 'get off my lawn'. I suppose that is a step up from the current generation that go off the deep end for having pronouns in video games but not by much.

Moving on...

Sure thing, revolutionary. Now return to your assigned task of demonstrating how everything can be made equal by hiring a full-grown male wearing make-up & a dress. Hmm, children love clowns, don't they? Yes, yes they do. Children love clowns....

BTW, its pronoun on days with two vowels (i.e. Monday, Thursday, Friday, Sunday) are "hahaha you total gullible fucking idiots" & on days with three vowels it changes to "I can't believe I keep getting away with this crap".

Maher thinks Joe is woke. Shows just how delusional Bill is. He lives in an elitist bubble surrounded by Rogan bobbleheads. Critical thinking is a façade to these grifters.

Here's the actual conversation between Maher & Rogan, uninterrupted with insipid analysis from another one of Scape's heroes from Democrat Socialist HQ.

What was presented to you initially was:

1) Maher: we agree on 90% of things

2) Rogan: and mildly disagree on the other 10%

WokeHiveMindInc: hahaha, GOTCHA!, watch them tear each other apart!

You can see with your own eyes and you can hear with your own ears. Or you can opt to accept the interpretation given to you by someone who isn't bothering at all to disguise that they've got a really shitty agenda that they want to impose on you.

The choice is yours as to what's real and what isn't. You have to decide for yourselves, I can't make that judgement for you. All I can do for you is show you what's going on in the background, who is making these wild distortions, and why they're doing it.

The rest is up to you.

You are correct. Maher claims to be a Democrat but constantly criticizes them for the same reasons Republicans do. Insisting "wokeism" is the main and even is a political issue.
