Besides that fact, if I enjoy listening to a particular artist, I couldn't care less about their political opinions or anything of that sort - you wouldn't judge a politician based on how well they can play the guitar, so why the double standard? Music is not politics.

I, too, wearly of people expecting musicians to live up to the caliber of their music. I love Appetite for Destrcution by Guns-n-Roses, but I think the general consensus is that Axl Rose is the biggest doofus on the planet. Who cares? Night Train still rocks.
