This guy is great - he debunked an atheist's video point by point in a clear and precise, yet entertaining, manner. Check it out.

When it involves Creationists, it's impossible for anyone with half a brain to be serious. ;)

Are we really wasting time arguing about the existence of God?? Any atheist worth his weight in Goldfish crackers would admit that you can't prove God's existence, or his non-existence.

If some random atheist posts a video on YouTube claiming to have proven, or argued successfully, that God doesn't exist, he is simply not credible. Even Dawkins and Dennett would agree.

Debunking an atheist's argument about the non-existence of God does not count as debunking atheism! It certainly does not count as a 'win' for organized religion on the great scorecard of life!

Sorry Durandal, I watched your video, but I didn't come away with the same sense of joy you did. As a matter of fact, I thought the video was hypocritical as it employed the very tactics it decried.

There would be serious technical problems as God only exists in one dimension.

There are no atheist fallacies. An Atheist isn’t superstitious and does not believe in god.

It’s really that simple.

The problem lies with the fact the Theists want/need/are forced to attempt to turn Atheists into Theists.

When that stops, the problem is resolved.

What is interesting is that one may find an atheist who uses logical fallacies but as a whole "theism" is a logical fallacy.
The reason why one needs faith is due to the fact that it can't be proven. I think when we look at the theological roots in mankind we can see this being played out. For example:
A group are in a cave in early time and thunder and lightening happens.
1) A theist said: "Big boom and light, I do not understand therefore a diety did it who lives where I can't see him and he wants me to slaughter a goat to make the fire it started go away. Run from God's fury"
2) An Atheist replied, "I don't believe your diety suggestion"
3) A Pantheist would say, "Its natural, nature rules, don't ya love it. Now lets grab that fire and bring in cave for heat and cooking.".
4) A diest would say, "It was caused by a chain of events started by a god but who has since left us to our own devices. Brings dessert to the Pantheists dinner".
Theism could be considered fun and intersting for sport but not for logic. It creates an answer for that which it does not understand and then creates a set of rules based its the created answers that are unethical in application in multifaith social systems. The only shared ethics one could justly adhere to would be the social contract of law and order. Religion is far too subjective and varied to be universally applied as an ethical base for modern societies. These ethical religious system conflicts easily are veiwed in the Middle East and at the WTC.

No matter how much you wanted Allah to smote us on 9-11. That was an act by men indoctrinated in non-universally accpeted standards of behavior.

An athiest or an agnostic may use an incorrect arguement, or make an argument in the wrong method, just like aynone else. The root problem still exists that there is no repeatable, independently verfied scientific evidence that a deity (commonly reffered to as 'god') either existed or exists.
