And Kimi drives for????? Yes, FERRARI LOL, true! But there's also the new guy, Kovalainen, driving for Renault. And.. Nico Rosberg. He may not be a Finnish citizen but he is the son of former champion Keke Rosberg. Yep, I know. But Renault (BTW is one of my biggest clients) isn't doing so well this year and after what I've seen from Kovalainen in his debute race I immediately forgot everything about this guy.
Yeah I agree, but as a Finn I'm interested in seeing how they do. Out of curiosity if nothing else. As for Kimi..I don't like the guy but he's a good driver, and he's done pretty well so far!

I know exactly what you mean by Kimi, I don't like the guy either but after Michael left he's the best driver in the field.

And this was my stile, regretfully I had stopped racing because I couldn't combine it any longer with family and job.

I'd like to see whats gonna happen to Ferrari this weekend in Bahrain. The Ferrari engines are running really hot this year and they have cooling problems. Just look at the steam coming out of the cooling vents at the end of the practice and qualifying runs. The race commentators and technicians say that that isn't suppose to happen. But, looks like its not affecting the longevety of their engines so far. So thats good for Kimi and Massa.
Louis Hamilton did a very good job of tying up the Ferrari team through out the race. No matter what Kimi or Massa tried, Louis would not let them pass or if they did, he passed right back at the next turn. Truly awsome driving from him. And it let Alonso buildup that huge lead early on.
Renault this year is really struggling. Especially in the qualifyers. Both times Renault got knocked out in the second session of qualifying. Team Boss Flavio Briatore (spelling?) lashed out at the team in Australia. And I wonder how bad of a tongue lashing the team got in Malaysia. Not what you expect from the Constructor Champion two years running.
Lets see what happens in Bahrain. Hopefully Panasonic Toyota continues to qualify top 10.

The Bahrain Grand Prix has come and gone, and what a race it was.
This race was punishing on the cars and it showed. A collision at the start put two cars (Honda, STR-Ferrari) out of the ace already.The Red Bull-Renault cars forced off the track with engine and driveshaft failures. The other STR-Ferrari car pulls out due to hydraulic failure in the transmission. That means BOTH Red Bull sponsored teams (RBR-Renault, STR-Ferrari) are out of the race. The last Super Aguri-Honda car blows its engine, and instead of pulling off the track right away, he keeps on driving throughout most of the track spraying oil, and engine coolant all over the track and all over one of the McLaren-Mercedes cars. He didn't make any friends after that.
Panasonic TOYOTA did ok this race. Trulli qualified 9th and finished 7th. After dropping a few places early on, he battled his way up the ranks fighting the Williams-Toyota team, Honda and a Red Bull-Ferrari. Ralf qualified 14th and finished 12th. He dropped to 17th place after a few laps but he kept his patience and fought to his 12th place finish. What the Panasonic Toyota engineer crew did some work to the transmission (can't remember exactly what) meant that Ralf and Trulli can't use first gear on a regular basis or risk burning out the first gear. This somewhat hampered the acceleration and top speed of the two cars which made passing oponents difficult.
Now we have to wait almost a month for the Spanish Grand Prix. They gotta schedule races closer together. Waiting this long sucks.
Here are the current standings thus far.
Constructors' Championship
1) McLaren-Mercedes 44pts
2) Ferrari 39pts
3) BMW 18pts
4) Renault 9pts
5) Panasonic TOYOTA 5pts

The Spanish Grand Prix has ended, and Im sure ALOT of drivers and teams are glad its over with. I for one am glad.
What a shitty race for my team (Panasonic Toyota). Ralf qualifies 17th, Trulli can't get off the grid cause of a few pressure drop, Trulli has to retire a few laps after thanks to a faulty fuel line, and Ralf retires thanks to a vibration in the front end of the car. But, they are not the only driveres to suffer. This race has claimed 8 cars and drivers for various mechanical failures and accidents. Honda has failed to score a single point yet this season. World Champions Renault is still performing poorly (talks among Renault and some press is to just drop trying to improve the current car and concentrate for 2008). Many other frustrations surfaced among the other teams as well.
Not all was bad in this race however. Red Bull Racing-Renault finished 5th and picked up crucial points and a very good morale boost for the team. Super Aguri-Honda finished 8th and finally scored a point for the first time in team history.
Here are the current standings as of the Spanish Grand Prix
Drivers Championship
1) Hamilton 30pts
2) Alonso 28pts
3) Massa 27pts
4) Raikkonen 22pts
5) Heidfield 15pts
6) kubica 8pts
6=) Fisichella 8pts
8 ) Roseberg 5pts
9) Coulthard 4pts
9=) Trulli 4pts (Panasonic Toyota)
11) Kovalainen 3pts
12) Sato 1pt
12=) Schumacher 1pt (Panasonic Toyota)
Constructors Championship
1) McLaren-Mercedes 58pts
2) Ferrari 49pts
3) BMW 23pts
4) Renault 11pts
5) Williams-Toyota 5pts
5=) Panasonic Toyota 5pts
6) Red Bull-Renault 4pts
7) Super Aguri-Honda 1pt

The Monte Carlo Grand Prix, the most glorious race on the F1 calendar (according to the F1 people) has run its course. Lets see how things went.
My team (Panasonic Toyota) has failed for the second race in a row to score a point. However, both Trulli and Ralf have completed the race without any incident, which was a far cry from the race in Spain where both were forced to give up the race because of mechanical failures. So the team did alot better this time around.
This race has claimed far fewer cars. McLaren-Mercedes finished with a 1st and 2nd place. Ferrari struggled during the course with Massa failing to pass either Mercedes cars. Team mate Kimi had a horrible 16th place qualifying position and has only been able to score a single point. BMW had a very strong finish and scored some beaucoup points. Honda was better this time around, but not good enough and has once again failed to score a single point this season (driver J. Button is getting really pissed with the team). Renault is still struggling, and team boss Flavio Briatore has announced that the team will just concentrate on being "best of the rest" ie: stay in 4th place on the constructors championship. As if he just gives up on his team like that, not good for team morale.
Here are the points and standings as of the Monte Carlo Grand Prix:
Constructors Championship
1) McLaren-Mercedes 76pts
2) Ferrari 56pts
3) BMW 30pts
4) Renault 16pts
5) Williams-Toyota 7pts
6) Panasonic Toyota 5pts
7) Red Bull-Renault 4pts
8 ) Super Aguri-Honda 1pt
Drivers Championship
1) Alonso 38pts
1=) Hamilton 38pts
3) Massa 33pts
4) Raikkonen 23pts
5) Heidfield 18pts
6) Fisichella 13pts
7) Kubica 12pts
8 ) Roseberg 5pts
9) Trulli 4pts (Panasonic Toyota)
9=) Coulthard 4pts
11) Kovalainen 3pts
12) Wurz 2pts
13) Schumacher 1pt (Panasonic Toyota)
13=) Sato 1pt
Lets see what the Canadian Grand Prix will show us. See ya then.
