I'm no fan of either Diaz brother as they both sound like they're mentally handicapped but they always come to fight. McGregor got too cocky and paid the price.

Yup, I was just hoping he'd lose just to shut him up.

I liked his cockiness, but when you don't back it up you're forced to swallow your pride and either work harder or shut up until you get back to winning.

True, but MacGregor does back up his words with deeds. After the fight with Diaz he complimented him on taking the fight on such short notice and on beating him fair and square.

I still like MacGregor. He's brash and delightfully antagonistic, but also damned entertaining to watch in the octagon.

So do I, I'd rather watch guys like these two who come to fight than watch a snore-fest with two guys who are just trying not to lose and spend the entire fight either running or hugging each other.

LOVED is post fight interview. He complimented Diaz for taking the fight short notice. He never complained or cried about himself doing the fight on short notice when he expected to face another opponent. He gave a good sound reason on his lose with out it sounding like an excuse.

MacGregor will be back fighting again, soon I hope. He took 0 damage in the lose and looked to be in great shape even after jumping up in weight. I would like to see him fight again sometime this summer.

And Jon Jones fails another drug test. Time to cut their losses with Jones because as talented as he is, his actions outside the cage reveal an attitude/behavior that is not what the UFC needs.

Brock Lesnar proudly drapes himself in Canadian flag

LAS VEGAS - When the UFC Canada team tweeted out a picture of Brock Lesnar on Tuesday evening, many fans were shocked by the image.

There was the former heavyweight champion, standing with his arms out and a flag raised.

A Canadian flag, to be more specific.

The South Dakota native and WWE star has been living with his family in Saskatchewan for a number of years, but nobody really expected him to suddenly start loudly and proudly representing the Great White North when he made his return to the octagon this weekend at UFC 200.

But that’s exactly what Lesnar did, and it turns out his explanation wasn’t all that complicated.

“It’s quite simple, I live there, so that’s how simple it is,” Lesnar said at Wednesday’s UFC 200 press conference.

Lesnar’s official profile on the UFC website has also been updated, and it now says that he is fighting out of Regina, Sask.

How are we not talking about this one? The return of the great one St.-Pierre vs. the Count Bisping sat Nov 4. Back in the day St-Pierre was pretty much unbeatable. The Count has a big mouth but always backs it up with his fists. He knocks someone out or he gets knocked out. Never in a bad fight. I always thought that St-Pierre stepped away to early. He was still at the top of his game. Garbrandt vs. Dillanshaw. I have been waiting on this one. I hope Dillashaw fucks up that roid raging psychopath. Its rare for me to break out the wallet for a pay per view, but this looks like money well spent for a saturday (hopefully) now that baseball is over.

It’s great to finally see GSP back. His last fight with Johnny Hendricks wasn’t great and then he disappeared for a while. Hopefully he he still kept his edge.

I think he was burned out with no true rival to get his fire back. The time off probably allowed him to totally heal up and he found a bit of fire left. I just want to see him at his peak again not lack luster type performance.

You never know how someone who has been out of the game for a while is going to do. I'm watching the current TUF series. Barb Honchack had taken a few years off and was not the number one seed. Her fight showed that she had not lost a step. She looked like the number one seed, and then some. Some fighters come back after a little time off, and look like they have aged 20 years in the off time. You know who I'm talking about. There just seemed to be a whole lot of mystery around GSP when he left. We never got the whole story. Was he burned out? Was it politics? You don't usually see someone that great just step away like that. If he is half the fighter he was at his peak, he can win this fight. I will pay to see it.

The other fights on the ticket sound fun. That girl fight should be a slobber knocker.

Question... Do UFC fighters all need those stupid nicknames? [huh]
