What sporting achievement by a Canadian team, sportsman or woman would you most like to see.

My 3...

although I'm only really interested in the NHL at play-off time like all good bandwagon jumpers I'd like to see the Leafs win the Cup, preferably after all-Canadian conference semi-finals

I'd like to see a genuine non-multiple loyalty Canadian be Heavyweight Boxing Champ

but #1 as a soccer fan since birth almost, I would die a happy man if I get to see Canada reach the World Cup finals again

Not that far-fetched. Lately it's more that fact that Canada has shot itself in the foot moreso than the competition being too good. Other than Mexico and the US.. the 3rd and 4th (playoff) places are there for the taking in any given world cup.

Also, Canada needs a league. Bring the CSL back!

As a baseball fan, Id like to see Canada do well in next months World Baseball Classic. The Semifinals maybe?

I hate it every four years when the World Cup comes around.

You can go into SportChek or just about anywhere else and get cool German/Italian/Brazilian/etc shirts/caps/jerseys/coats and so on, but there is never anything for Team Canada.

I realize we're usually not in the World Cup, but if they had Canadian stuff I'd buy it. Just because my father was Dutch doesn't necessarily mean I want a Team Netherlands jersey...

I have a Team Canada jersey which I wore with pride at Euro 2000, well until I noticed it was exactly the same as the Turkish jersey and realised that was why I was getting nasty stares from English fans.
Actually I'm sure that you can get them at most places in Toronto
