Just on the right, you can see this Moose calf's twin! A rare happening, but the cow that frequents the area seems to have them every few seasons.

I couldn't get a shot of mom and calves at the same time.

Usually, that's why I wondered. But the prints are obviously 4 feet that seem to be created by something 'hopping'. They also aren't normally that out in the open. There were teeny foot prints all over my deck in the fresh snow. Whatever it was was looking for eats, because it went underneath all my bird feeders.

I checked my home security cameras, but couldn't see anything, so it was too small to get picked up on camera. It was fortunate it snowed that night.

Sorry for the poor quality. It was dark and I was inside a vehicle when I took this one. Though wolves attacking humans is rare I wasn't going to take the chance of getting out and asking him or her to smile for the camera! This was the closest I have been to a wolf and I was so busy marvelling at that and watching him/her that I didn't take any other pics.

Ok. Yet another one that I wish was better. Out of the ones I took this was the best. Black bear encounter this time. I took this from a distance as the sound of the vehicle spooked him or her as we got closer and it jumped into the bushes before I could get a better shot. Other times I have seen these beasts I have not have my camera with me.
