I wish I could have watched the debate but I have this strange physical problem about Bush.
I go into an automatic gagging fit whenever I hear him speak.

I'm with you Michou, I have seen enough excerpts to cause physical illness, If I believed I would have heard something intelligent, I would have watched....i am glad I don't have to chose between the rock and the hard place!

Problem with politics is most people just vote on how somebody looks rather then the message they are sending. (This is what US elections are all about)

It was more like a sporting event. Next year John Madden should moderate.

Kerry could really have demolished Bush if he had wanted to. I suspect Kerry listened to his PR advisers more than he should have. He could have shown more leadership but anything that can get Bush out of there is fine with me.

Did anyone watch the vice-presidential debate?

bit of it. Edwards won in my mind. I think John Edwards is auditioning to eventually take control of the democratic party. He reminds me of kennedy

I think so too. Watching that debate made me wonder what things would be like if he were the candidate. Anyone who didn't watch the vice-presedential debate should check it out it was much more heated than the presidential debate.

I must say that Halle Berry would do a heck of a lot better!!!
