BartSimpson BartSimpson: Mark your calendars....Michelle Obama is getting a from me for standing by her principal that Democrats should aspire to decency instead of acting like Hillary Clinton would have them do. $1: During an exclusive live interview with Michelle Obama on Thursday’s Today show, co-host Savannah Guthrie touted the former First Lady’s “famous” motto of “When they go low, we go high.” However, the NBC anchor then highlighted other prominent Democrats recently calling for the party to abandon any pretense of civility when attacking Republicans and wondered if Obama’s saying “still stands.”
“You know, and these are tough times politically, that we are living in,” Guthrie lamented. After reminding viewers of the then-First Lady warning supporters at the 2016 Democratic National Convention not to “go low” like Republicans, the morning show host noted:
And just this week the former Attorney General Eric Holder, who worked for your husband, said the Democrats should have a new motto, “When they go low, we should kick them.” Hillary Clinton said, “How can we be civil when our opponents are trying to, you know, take away everything we stand for?”
Guthrie followed: “And I just thought, what would you say now about your motto? Do you think it still stands, ‘When they go low, we go high’?”
To her credit, Obama seemed to scold her fellow liberals:
Absolutely. Fear is not a – it’s not a proper motivator. Hope wins out. And if you think about how you want your kids to be raised, how you want them to think about life and their opportunities, do you want them afraid of their neighbors? Do you want them angry? Do you want them vengeful?
The calls from Holder and Clinton for left-wing activists to continue to threaten and intimidate Republicans had not been covered by any of the broadcasts networks until Guthrie’s question, which wasn’t even critical of the remarks. How come you think only Democrats need be decent while you call her husband a ni..er and everyone else a c-nt, and take special pride in Republican toxic vulgarity?

Barrack essentially said the same thing a few months ago. The truth is the Democrat party of today isn't the same political party during Obama's terms it's become something worse.

I'd say both parties have become something worse.

BeaverFever BeaverFever: How come you think only Democrats need be decent while you call her husband a ni..er and everyone else a c-nt, and take special pride in Republican toxic vulgarity? Two things: 1. Prove that I called Obama a nigger. That means you have to post a link to a post of mine where I wrote this. Do this or retract this personal insult. 2. If I called everyone else a c*nt then how is it I've never called you one? Aside from Hillary if there was anyone I would use that word on it would certainly be you, yet I haven't. Therefore I do not call 'everyone' a c*nt. Now, I have told you repeatedly not to make shit up and attribute it to me. One last time: knock it off.

Personal note: I am amused that you make us bear witness to the armed and fully operational N-Bomb. But you censor the C-word.

BartSimpson BartSimpson: In any case, it's done and the result will hopefully be better trade relations and lower prices on cheese for people who like poutine. I don't even know if I could serve 'American cheese' to an enemy, much less a friend. How people can eat it on cheeseburgers and grilled cheese sandwiches is beyond me. You certainly should NEVER put that crap on poutine. American cheese is fake plastic shit that should be outlawed by the Geneva Conventions as cruel and unusual punishment. Every time I've gone to the States and bought Tillamook or other American brand of cheddar and other cheeses at the grocery store, I've been disappointed. I'm sure there are some good artisanal brands, but I've yet to discover them. Even Costco, which sells a wide variety of imported cheese here in Canada, has a lousy selection of cheese south of the border.

I don't censor the word cute but the site automatically does it so I roll with it. As to the word 'nigger' I will continue using it for editorial purposes so long as black people continue using it in music, in art, in literature, and in polite conversation. To do otherwise would be accepting the proposition that only black people are allowed to use the word 'nigger' and that would be racist. But when they stop using that word then so will I.

That boggles my mind.

In fairness this is a Canadian site and offense over the use of the word nigger is an American problem and not a Canadian concern. But given the large number of c*nts in Canada who get offended at the accurate use of the word c*nt it was obviously a wise choice to censor the word.
