Great.
Please show me one instance of any of the following in the past decade to support your comments:
1) American Christians beheading infidels.
2) American Christians imposing a dress code on infidels.
3) American Christians beheading adulterers.
4) American Christians beheading anyone.
5) American Christians blowing up police & military units with car bombs.
6) American Christian suicide bombers.

While it is true you don't see the Xtian right blowing themselves up to take infidels with them you seem to have missed the main theme of the argument in that both groups seek to impose their religion & viewpoints unto the public.
You see the evidence in your country all the time. We see battles between those who want concrete visible symbols of Xtianity in courtrooms, in all schools, in Gov't buildings, the list goes on. They want their specific religious teachings taught in schools as fact along side real science & history. In almost every case it is the right-wing "radicals" groups attempting to do so. If there were not Americans fighing tooth & nail to prevent this the US would very much be a radical Xtian nation as every bit intolerant as islamic fundementalist nations. If the islamic fundementalists controlled a huge army occuping our countries what would we do to fight back? The absolute truth is that the reason you aren't behaving like the fundementalists we see on TV is not because of the Xtian right in your ranks but because of all the others who are against religion, any religion in charge of things.
Dress Code: Yes our society does up to a point. Virtually every catholic (& private schools) have dress codes. We have acceptable attire for buisness, dinner, parties, opera, etc. You can arrested for indecent exposure (which bikini's were prior to the 40's). Certainlt=y there are questions of degree here but who are we to judge them?
Imagine how much of US culture would be lost with the Xtian right in absolute charge? Every decade has seen religious groups protesting against "todays" music as obscene or devil worship. What about film? Imagine how many films would never have been made or allowed to be shown? There is absolutely no doubt in my that a society run by Xtian fundementalists would be every bit as restrictive & intolerant as an islamic fundementalists. Possibly Americans greatest influences on freedom was the seperation of church & state. They did it for a reason.
Christian culture is what the USA was established upon. We are not fighting to
impose such things as Ten Commandments plaques in courtrooms, we are fighting the atheists who want them
removed. The US Supreme Court is a bunch of hypocrites who say that all courtrooms in the USA should remove the Ten Commandments...
except their courtroom! We are fighting to defend our culture from things like this:
