I enjoyed this list, and article, even though it leans left, and I don't. I thought it was pretty fair for the most part. 50 most loathsome people in AmercaI liked "You" as a selection. That was clever. I never did get the Joe the Plumber hate this year, but he gave some good reasoning, I thought. Some names I think he missed... The American Paparazzi PETA Nancy Pelosi Arianna Huffington. Al Gore. Rosie O Donnell Nancy Grace

Brenda Brenda: Nancy Grace is not on that list? Oy... She should be on top Agreed. Toss in Ann Coulter, who should be #1 every year anyway, and Glenn Beck as well. I'd also add in Ron Paul as well, who's somehow managed to convince a shit-load of people that returning to the gold standard and bringing back a 19th century model of government regulation (i.e. there is no such thing as government regulation) will bring back a stable economic environment.

We'll give you Limbaugh, and Coulter, but Glen Beck, no way. Nothing loathsome there. He's entertaining, and at least makes a stab at supporting his arguments. Controversial maybe, but loathsome, no way. In return for Limbaugh and Coulter though, we on the right want Gore and Pelosi on the most loathsome list. Fair trade, I think.

Sorry, Beck has to go on the list. He's an ignorant twat who thinks anything to the left of Mussolini is Communism and his 'defences' of his views are of grade school quality.
And you can have But you can have Harry Reid as well if you wish.

Sorry. Your Beck critique is hyperbole, and unfounded. We'll stand pat on no Glen. We agree to take Reid for most loathsome though, and think you should throw in Barney Frank.

OK, I'll tell you what. You drive a hard bargain. We'll give you Beck, but in return we want the Washington Post, MSNBC, the NY Times, Time Magazine, CNNN and Newsweek on the most loathsome list.

I liked that Obama was # 50, because he was the first name you see when you open the list. He'll trade spots with Palin by next year though.

You are so off there. We need our money back by something now more than ever. We also need less government now more than ever, as well. Less government will bring back economic stable. It has been prove both historical and theoretically. For example since the Fed was created the US dollar has lose about 95% of is valve and both that it gained over 50%. We need less Statism big time.
