YOUR kid is YOUR responsibility. The safety and well being of the passengers is the driver's responsibility.
It seems like the bus driver lived up to his responsibilities and yet again a parent is unable to and the blame goes elsewhere.
Bravo to the bus driver. |

Those are the minimum requirements to get into the military. Our ship's divers need higher fitness scores than that, and it's not nearly as taxing as sar tech training. I'm not saying you can't do it. I'm just saying, they tend to weed out the people who shouldn't be there. So, it's not as easy as t... |

It's just like Chobin said. A lot of people walk around with a chip on their shoulder. And when it gets knocked off, it's because the person is racist. Not because the person with the chip on their shoulder is an asshole.. Go figure. It didn't take me long to notice this. First couple of weeks of li... |

lily lily: Oh you're right. Instead of posting a picture, I should have flexed my e-muscles too and threatened to beat someone up.
Instead you flexed your E-Vagina and suggested we hug it out. What's the difference? |

Would I ever like to have a "discussion" with this Streaker character.
I'd be willing to take bets that he'd gladly apologize for every disparaging remark he's made about our service members. |

You could be right. I'm just going off of the top of my head. I was just getting at that they're not quite "twice" the size.. lol |

Just a couple of points. We can't go and shoot missiles off anywhere we like. It has to be done in a training range. They are situated off of the southern US. Hawaii and Virginia being one on each coast. Also, a frigate holds about 600,000 litres of fuel. Double the cost of that and you go from payi... |

Glaciers are sitting on land. The sun hits them, which makes pieces fall into the water. Water is above freezing, or relatively close taking into account salinity. Which in turn helps melt the ice bergs. As more ice bergs fall off, the edge gets bigger which in turn allows more ice bergs to fall off... |

You're making assumptions. Just because I believe that it is hypocritical to allow one and not the other does not mean I do either. The rules and policies haven't changed with the times. Neither have the laws of our country. We all know the basic rules will always be there, such as do not harm other... |

According to that article I detect a zero tolerance for drug and alcohol. You would be wrong. I pay Cdn $1 a beer and about .50 a shot. Our "cafeteria" has a pop machine with 600 cans of beer in it. And it's never locked. We usually have about 500 free beer thrown on monthly for the crew ... |

This is great. They encourage drunkenness. You can get so drunk that you'll run around a ship naked and shit in the wardroom. You can piss all over the place, in other people's lockers, on settees. You can even be completely useless to do your job because you're so drunk and nobody will say a word. ... |

The most telling image is of the firefighters with their hands on their hearts. The Americanisation of Canada continues apace with tacky displays of sentimentality such as this. Grotesque. Utterly grotesque. On behalf of my fallen friends, Cpl Bouzane and Cpl Williams, you're welcome. I'm sure they... |
