Open Letter Joe Olivers Desperate Hour Canadas Minister of Natural resources is running scared. He knows the truth is out there. It is human nature that when someone is hiding the truth they often resort to overstating their case. Joe Oliver claims in an open letter to Canadians that our regulator...

And don't think the Afghjanistan war is over just because we Canadians left. The US is still there in large numbers and still using it as a killing field. Many of their operations are covert and the use of drones more common than ever. Nothing has really been accomplished there just a lot of people ...

Dr. Caleb the logic of your argument escapes me. As I suggested you should do some reading on the subject of militarism and then we can discuss the issue again. You appear totally ignorant of the social, political, and economic implications of militarism.

Canadian Mind- the answer to your question is that we are fighting phoney wars against enemies that are largely manufactured. We are obsessed with military spending-1.4 trillion dollars a year - mostly by the US and NATO. Military spending is really corporate welfarism. Military spending is bankrupt...

The Jets logo looks like something that came from The Dollar Store or maybe a cereal box. It clearly has little to do with hockey. As NHL logos go it is more suited to a badge or insignia for an air force operating in some banana republic. It borrows heavily(design plagerism?)from the roundell used ...

The Globe and Mail's firing of Rick Salutin was a very real example of what happens to journalists who speak the truth. Salutin dared to mention Straussian philosophy as it is just what is leading to the ruin of both Canada and the US. Every Canadian should read Lawrence Martin's book "Harperland" a...

I have written on anti-Americanism before and felt it was timely to revisit the issue, espeica... |

What one distinquished American has to say about his country: Neither $553 billion nor $80.1 billion can buy Washington a brain. Right now, by all evidence, our leaders are still convinced that it's their job to run the world and fight distant wars until hell freezes over. They can't bear to think a...

The RCMP will continue to be a national disgrace until such time as there is some effective civilian oversight established. There is no accountability and they know they can get away with all sorts of outrageous s---. In my younger years they were held in high regard now they are pathetic.

What has happened in Egypt is truly inspiring and congratulations are in order. But(and I hate to rain on anybodies parade)the truly difficult part is about to begin. You can be sure the "corporate fascist tyrants" are not going to sit back and not try to influence Egypt's future. Like Latin America...

Sanctioned male rape goes hand in hand with increasingly sadistic ... |
