.. but do we get to keep the empty wallet, or will small print take that option away from us too? |

we had around 4" of snow in mid December and again at the end of the year. Nothing to speak of in our area so far for January. Trouble is, if we don't see much now, we could have a cold spring again!!

I came to the Okanagan back in 2002 ... and this season is clearly the mildest I've ever seen (especially on the lack of snow). Ironically, I fully serviced our snow blower, and so far, it hasn't even twitched!!
Will February bring us 10 feet of snow???

... just caught a clip on CHBC tonight, with HST questions directed at Gordon Campbell. Sounded like he was walking around a "hot pot" to me. A popular tax for Industry, but not likely to please the average tax payer!!!

Haven't flown for 3 years now, so wonder how tight the whole new carry-on/hand luggage rules have become? .. would imagine that there are many restrictions nowadays.
(may find out in the next year or two) |

Nice one novachick!
Would I find a good fish 'n' chips shop, bottle of Irn Bru & a local pub with that true Scottish feel? |

| I heard that they are so strong in retaining their heritage, keeping the gaelic culture alive & more awareness of their past. I think that's where the "more Scottish than Scotland" joke comes from, but I may be wrong? |

As a Scotsman, I feel that I must find an opportunity to travel to Nova Scotia some day, as every review I've read, heard people speak off, gives me a good feeling about the area.
I've even heard that it's more Scottish than Scotland! |

Okay, relaxed!
That's what happens when you are used to forums where people get bent out of shape & give you the welcome from hell!! .. (not that I got that impression here, just a mild concern) |

| Please help me follow what's going on here, I feel like I have broken the rules, but I'm in the dark? ... I only asked about my signature, as I couldn't figure out why I could see it in my profile, but not in my posts, didn't realise I had to tick the box each time. This wasn't some kind of stunt to... |
