| NO malware on Canadaka.net, but a link in the links directory points to an old website that has become a spam site. Removed link and submitted review to Google, warning should go away in 2 days. |

You may want to logout from the site, close browser, re-open and re-login. I deleted all the cached sessions so might do weird things.
Also I think I fixed the black images on news links from links to CBC. It was happening on any image urls that were HTTPS |

| Not really sure what broke with posting, couldn't fine the cause. But clearing all caches, sessions and restarting the database & web servers has fixed it. |

| Well that was annoying, the DB was VERY corrupted. Seems the datacenter had maintenance yesterday and powered off the servers, must be related too that. Should be fixed now. |

| SO I tried to move my servers to a new data-centre today, but my host lost my rack rails, so the new host wasn't able to mount the server (old host just had them stacked on top of each other!). Sorry for the downtime of the site, there was a big clusterf**k with my host that took forever to resolve.
There will be another day of downtime probably next tuesday so I can move the servers to a new data-centre. This downtime will be planned though and should only be half a day. |

| I will try and look at both those issues this week, I was away for most of Feb. The Vive thing was just a quick fix to get the form to work. The old editor that was used no longer worked in modern browsers. |

CKA has always had ads, except the past year. CKA has never had the annoying pop-up or pop-under type ads.
Its not regular forum posters that generate most the revenue, its random search engine traffic. |

| Google lifted the ban on Canadaka.net ad-serving. So there are ads once again working. But we must remain vigilant to not most adult images. I'm still going through some posts from 10 years ago. | I'm an archivist, I like keeping digital things, its our internet heritage! I've deleted hundreds of posts with photos tonight using Google Image search and the tool I linked above. Its simple stuff like this that I have to remove. Stuff you'd see walking down the street anyway on a billboard... sigh. |
