I went through it 10 years after you, before the [educational system] reform, and this is what I recall: New France = initially to exploit resources, policy changed to development (of note: they paid people for having babies  ) First Nations = trade relationship, allied against the Brits Ste-Fo...

You're pointing the obvious Bodah

I'm from Quebec, went through the Quebec's education system and still can't believe the crap I 'learned' during those years.

I can't agree more with Desmond's assessment

What part of the curriculum was 'crap', if I may ask? :|

Thats a nice can of worms you are trying to open there. Oh, I don't have anything too drastic in mind. Simply institute runoff voting for all 308 ridings and problem solved. The Bloc only has about 38.1% of the popular vote in Quebec, yet they manage to obtain a plurality in nearly two third...

EyeBrock EyeBrock:
I agree, but I can't see a majority on either side. The problem is that we have a province that cares not about the rest of Canada and has enough seats to ensure that we have to pander to them.

Electoral reform is the only solution..

It is justified.. the stimulus package stinks and they really haven't released funding for much. Have you heard of one job being created by it? no! and there are a long list of reasons to dump this government.. I haven't read the 234-page report, so I'll let Ignatieff go over it and decide accordin...

Sorry Derby. It's still Iggy's fault.
He put us "On Probation" then fell asleep at the switch.

Well, there you go. Partisan hack.
