| Hi ... I can find OEM version but I am in need of retail only , reason as to why I have a client that has kids and he want to install 98se retail for his kids computers , which are pretty old comps and , He also has older games that the kids like , He has had 98se OEM version before ( preinstall ) b... |

| Hi ... Thanks for your tips !!! Canadaka I'm curious if you ever use windows 98 second edition ? Not just 98 but SE ... Yeah I know 98 isn't no longer supported but the client wants 98se , He doesn't like 2000 , LOL , Oh well ... |

| I also keep NTREGOPT around and use it occasionally. It was written by the same person that wrote the very good Registry Backup program called ERUNT. NTREGOPT does some optimization similar to the old Scanreg options in Win9x, but with far less effectiveness. It was written for Windows NT but works ... |

| It's almost a VHS, Beta thing. Different Standards that came from two competing groups of companies. There is no simple way to explain it and you will get arguments both ways as to which to use. I played it safe and bought a Burner that will handle either and that may be the situation with your burn... |

| Hey Karra It would seem to me by your post that you have a brand name computer which has windows xp preinstall ... Is this true ??? Because my post is for people that have a Windows XP CD ... Now brand name computers do have recovery disk and your best bet is to get in contact with whomever your man... |

Follow this procedure and allow Windows XP to partition and format your drive: NOTE: It would be best to physically disconnect all... |
