IT would cost a fortune, as I've laid out. You either still have EI and bureaucracy, or have to make the mincome high enough to match max EI now. No CPP payins means no investment of the payins as is current - CPP is self funding. And again, if you're only reducing, not eliminating CPP system, you ... |

Deflation is far worse than Inflation. No one wants Deflation, everyone wants Low Inflation. The reason is that Inflation can be controlled, Deflation is extremely difficult to control, because it is a disincentive for consumers to Spend. Which further decreases Demand and causes more Deflation. |

Raising wages for everybody almost 50% overnight would cause huge inflation, that's a fact. 1500 per month to every adult would still be 517 billion. In 2015-16, the govt only expected to take in 290 billion total in revenues. If the system is just ramping up welfare rates, as Sandorski says, that'... |

It wouldn't be $2000/month, probably 1000-1500. Still looks hella expensive on Paper, but that's only in comparison if you just tack on the Cost of it to the current system. Once you take into account clawbacks from Work Income, the system would only really be adding the current Poor as an added exp... |

This is West V. They can do what they want. They also have to put up with the consequences, either good or bad So far in the states where Constitutional carry has become law the rate of violent crime significantly drops after adoption of the law. http://bearingarms.com/study-concealed-constitutiona... |

You're kidding, right? Go listen to what his dad preaches. That's straight up Theocracy. You listen to it. If I want to hear what Ted Cruz has to say on the subject of government and religion it's easy to find. And I don't have a problem with it. There's nothing radical about it. He believes in fre... |

S... Yes, Cruz is religious. No, he's not a theocrat which is what you seem to be suggesting. He is about freedom of religion or freedom to worship as you like, but he's not about pushing religion on others through the federal government. He's a rule of law, constitutionalist type guy and a separat... |

Sweet victory. Don't know if it will help their Playoff chances, but winning against the Sharks after the previous 2 Losses to them is nice to see. |
