Ahhhh,the smokey river,was only 2 weeks ago I would look at it and know how it got it's name while I was on my way to work on a road at the prison at grande cache.
Sometimes the fog would go right up the source of the river to the rockys and look like snow.

Allways I would look for a high point for a pic and not find one.

Nice memorys QBC and nice pics.

Those are cool pics.

Be it Alberta or BC. Although not on those pics, the mountains offer a great scenery. Would love to travel there one of these days.

Perhaps could go on across the country during the CFL season and go see a home game at each of the CFL stadium. That would be neat.

Go North and South now QBC. See the worlds most northern Desert, and the hoodoos. Hoodoos especially spectacular at sunset.

With my much better half working this weekend...I headed east and south yesterday. (About 300 kms of back roads... :lol:

) Not too sure where I'll end up today...maybe take some of DC's directions and go look at those... :wink:

One thing I've realized about our great country, no matter where you are in it, there is such great beauty. Each area is amazing in it's own way.

Finding some high ground and viewing fields of ripening canola against a dark stormy sky for contrast is pretty spectacular.

I kinda mentioned that on one of our first "play days". I know a GREAT spot too. Just waiting for the day to come.
