Hester, yeah I was. Shocking game!! I was so pissed off with the players that I wanted to leave early. Could not believe the mistakes they were making!

Dan Parks needs to be taken off. I can't stand that guy, and I've lost count of the numbers of times I've shouted "fuckin Dan Parks!!!"

Ugh lol

I don't think Canada has the caliber yet to be successful against the European rugby teams. They play a vastly different game, and they need to learn the european side of things if they hope to be sucessful, not only at World Cup level, but to play friendlies, and other internationals.

I decided to take some time out from my weekend away in Copenhagen to go to a nice bar (Bloomsday, really good Irish/British bar with excellent food ) so I could watch the rugby.

After the first twenty minutes, I came to rue that decision for the rest of my life as it was the most pointless 120 minutes I've wasted in my life watching a useless England flounder against an under stregnth Springbok side.

Anyway quite tired so I will summerise later.

Someone needs to make Dan Parks "disappear" if you get my drift?

It is because of his horribly negative and generally rubbish kicking that I can award Dan Parks:

And Scotland for it's almost England-like lack of basic skills or co-ordination:

There you go! Some silver ware at last eh?!

Anyway, the England vs South Africa game.

Essentially England got off to an excellent start with some good moves, good kicking and they looked genuinely dangerous. The forwards were again JOGGING TO THE BREAKDOWN, THE SCRUMS AND THE LINE OUTS!!!! I almost chocked on my glass of Danish Christmas beer when I saw that!!!

Anyway after 30 minutes, being 13 points up on South Africa, they inexplicably eased off the accelerator and South Africa really started to take hold of the game like they did last week.

The 2nd half was just awful. England insisted on kicking the ball down Full back Steyn's throat or into Andre Pretorius's arms. Both of which said "thank ya guv'nor" in afrikaaner accents and promptly went for extraordinary drop goals.

It was the drop goals that hurt England more then the tries. South Africa haven't been that rampant with drop goals since 1995 and Jannie de Beer!

Although just the week before that, the Springboks lost against the weakest England side for over 30 years.

I wouldn't call that the weakest England side for 30 years. Yes the most demoralised England side for 30 years but not the weakest.

Also keep in mind that Jake White kept most of his best players resting at home. A strategy that is risky in terms of sacrificing public opinion but worth it when you think about the amount of youngsters that he is blooding in like Francois Steyn.

England on paper should have beat South Africa by at least 20 points. And week in, week out those same players are at the peak of fitness and form. So what exactly changes when they trot out in an England shirt?!
