Rhubarbistan is my buddy. He also played NationStates with us for a while, but like most of us, got bored with the limited options. He is loving CyberNations though...

As for joining this other alliance, we could join it, but form an "alliance inside an alliance" so to speak. And Tech makes your military much better, boosting their war fighting ability.

ahh.... Now I see. I got a message from an Obi wan kenopea asking for help - seems he's in some war related trouble. Anyhow I saw that he was Rhubarbistan which sounded familiar. I'll offer some support next time I log in.

For the time being I'm going to focus on buying tech. I don't have enough right now to translate into a happier population (only 0.42), but I think those benefits start kicking at .5 or so.

Edit....shot down in flames...they said they have tried that before and the Alliance within went Rouge on them and some innocent Nations got caught up in the crossfire. Fool me once shame on you......fool me twice shame on me.

Anyways....I still think we should get tight with a larger Alliance....we are too small and vulnerable as it is right now.

example....rhubarbistan goes to war with "Nordreich" a member of the "norad" alliance...for no other reason than he wants to go warring.....the rest of the Nations in the norad alliance will, in all likelihood, attack him and other members of CKA in retribution and to prevent us from giving aid to rhubarbistan.

This is what the USN Alliance does if attacked....then they demand reparations from the attacking Nation and Alliance for what ever damage was caused....if the attacking nation and alliance choose not to pay then they wipe them out.

I definitely agree with you on this, but Rhubarbistan attacked "Schmidtzerland", who has no allies. He did this precisely because he didn't want 200 countries destroying him.

I think the rule should be that it's okay to attack non-aligned nations, but attacks on alliances should be discussed, simply because I don't think any of us want to get annihilated.

I also think that if someone goes off to attack someone, aid is optional, whereas an attack on one of us means we should come to their aid.

....I asked them if that would be ok....our alliance within thiers.....so much for the secret eh. They still want us to join though. We could possible form the CKA Expeditionary Force within the USN....for peace making ventures sanctioned by the USN of course. But right now we definitely do need more protection than we can offer ourselves.

And it seems that there is a big war brewing in Cyber Nations......

There have been some major wars (someone out there is documenting this stuff! ) at CyberNations. Nothing I want to get dragged into right now.

I got the USN message too. Probably a good idea to move to an official alliance but the USN doesn't look like a very big or strong one. The big kahuna of alliances seems to be GATO.
