doesn anyone here use Audacity??? its a music editing program and i'm having trouble saving as an mp3...

You have to download the MP3 component for it - I use to use it at my old job and I remember that much about it. I have not the foggiest idea of where to find it - I just recall that the MP3 thing was a separate file and it is one to have becuase it reduces the size of the sound files by like 80%.

Your post pick my curiosity, Since Audacity is free, open source software. I install it in my Linux box just to see how it would work with my mp3. A simple check in the software manager to install it and it was done. mp3, wav, ogg all seem to work out of the box. It's a nice little editing software.
