Was wondering if anyone knew what type of format that is. I've never heard of it before. My friend had burned some cds and dvds with music on them, but the computer can't read that format. It just stalls and hangs and have to restart the computer.

I looked up the definition of CDFS and it said something like it was for Win 95 or Linux or something like that. Is there anyone who's knows if there is like an application of some sort that can make the computer think otherwise?

Compact Disk File System, CDFS. (ISO9660).

One of the early types of writing to a read only (WORM) CD.

Is compatable with DOS, UNIX, WIN95, WIN98 and some versions of UNIX.

Is still used today to install boot loaders for higher end operating systems.

Some info Here
