Ian is heading for my parents and uncles place. Everyone in my family will be watching this one closely.

Oh no, that's terrible housewife. Have they evacuated somewhere safer yet?

Parents are still up here uncle too. Poor guy is up here dealing with insurance after his place was destroyed in one of those wicked storms that when through Ontario. Now he’s house is on the line. I’m sure that my aunt and everyone is out of harm’s way. Though last I heard one of the kids was a first responder so he may still be in the area.

Have you been able to communicate with your family that remained in Florida?

There was a mention on that 911 services had received over 200,000 calls for help. It's heartbreaking to even imagine how many people may have perished as a result of emergency personnel simply not being able to reach them.

The damage they are showing today is beyond belief.

Wow, that's great for your family. Obviously they don't live in the areas most affected.

They’re in the Tampa area. Haven’t heard anything about the cousins but I would have by now.
