We have our own versions right here in Canada. While they havn't been charged with anything, they're non-Muslim women who converted and married some jihadi and now support him. And of course we've got the Kadhr women.

The more society alienates people, the more will be attracted to ideas such as radical Islam. If you have nothing in this world, those 72 virgins or Fabios (for the women) start to seem pretty attractive. And having nothing isn't about material possessions. Most jihadis are middle class. It's about having the bling, but nothing inside that gives life any meaning.
