$1: No Man's Sky Beyond is a three-part expansion to Hello Games' procedural universe, beginning with No Man's Sky Online
Following a rocky release in 2016, No Man's Sky has gone from strength to strength as developer Hello Games worked to correct its inherent flaws and expand its qualities as a multiplayer sci-fi sandbox of infinite proportions.
Last year, the studio released No Man's Sky Next - an all encompassing free expansion that coincided with the Xbox One release of the procedural space exploration sim - but this is apparently just the beginning for creator Sean Murray, who has today announced the next evolution of his game with No Man's Sky Beyond.
In a press release, Murray calls No Man's Sky Beyond the "most ambitious chapter so far", which will be rolling out this Summer for free to any owner of the base game, and made up of three major updates rolled into one uniform expansion.

Currently, 'Multiplayer' is mostly just a glowing orb floating where a character is. Unless they 'join' your game, they you see them as the Avatar they choose. But seeing random people, as Avatars, just doesn't happen. And you also never see their ship. Ships are all unique, just like planets, wildlife and vegetation. So seeing someone elses' ship would be pretty cool.

I may do very bad here, as this is not a game but.... This was just something that came up on another site, but damn....this artist has a dream that I certainly would love to see in gaming reality. https://www.artstation.com/artwork/VdNvJR

It's game related. Close enough. I never played any of those, but I can see the draw.

You've never played Mario Bros or Legend of Zelda? Turn in your gamer card, sir.

DrCaleb DrCaleb: I never played any of those, but I can see the draw. A game like that would give Nintendo a money printing license. For any non Nintendo fans, this is Zelda/Link & Mario/Peach, in the quintessential Final Fantasy 1 party class system. Aka: A Nintendo Geek's Wet Dream.

DrCaleb DrCaleb: Never had anything 'Nintendo'. I sincerely suggest that you find a way to play Kart, Party, or Smash in local co-op. Easily some of the greatest party games ever made, and excellent ice breakers, for mixed group parties.

Stealing stars on the last couple turns, get rekt. I bought a switch specifically for Kart, Part, and Smash. Great games.

llama66 llama66: You've never played Mario Bros or Legend of Zelda? Turn in your gamer card, sir. Nintendo sucks! You can still be a gamer without having played Nintendo - there are tons of other systems that are as good or even better. I know lots of people online who are hardcore gamers that prefer other systems to Nintendo (Atari, Sega, Playstation, etc.).
