"Will" should be added instead of "might"

and Capt Canuck just showed us what he's made of; not blue blood like everybody thought, it's just yellow.

The word "might" hwacker was Harper's own word. You should read the article before commenting.

because Harper may become the next prime minister.

"might"
was your word.

And to be honest the CTV.ca News Staff made the assumption of that statement.

The semantics of "may" versus "might" are irrelevant. The issue here is that Duceppe is willing to debate Martin, the impassioned defender of Quebec within Canada, and Martin has run away from the challenge. Why? Martin is the one who said he would debate sovereignty on any street corner in Quebec. Duceppe takes up his kind offer and Martin quits. Adscam re-energized the sovereignty movement; what are the Liberals going to do to repair that damage other than wrap themselves in the flag and claim their position as the party of natural government?

Exactly! Martin goes about saying he would defend Canada anywhere in Québec. Duceppe, with TQS (Btw, a Federalist household and rightwing center of mediatique propaganda for Quebec. Jean LaPierre was a ccommentateur there before he joined the libs) extend an invitation to Martin to debate 1 on 1 and Martin refuses the invitation.

Martin is a coward, and uses the ''Captain Canada'' card to subdue Canadians. He knows he has no real chance to defend Canada in Quebec. Because asking for a stronger federal government is scaring away Quebec Federalists, and will ultimatly give the winning punch for seperatism.

Please Canada, elect Paul Martin.

No prob will do. The proposal of Harper for a more decentralize Canada in which province would have a seat on internationnal forum is quite interesting to some over here. That might divide the fédéralist vote and give up to 63 seat to the Bloc

But seriously who in Canada could accept seeing Québec side by side with Canada on internationnal forum. Sorry but it's (un piège à con) seriously How much can Canadien in the ROC tolerate this sort of thing?

Yeah, you wouldn't want a leader whose willing to actually challenge the separatistes openly on an intellectual level.

Much better to stick with a Prime Minister who offers to take on the sovereignists on "Every street corner and every town hall in Quebec", then backs down and waffles when Duceppe calls his bluff. Yep, that's a LEADER!
