QBC QBC: It's Toronto we're talking about. The team who didn't make the playoffs for a decade. The Canucks have made it to the Stanley Cup Finals more often than the Lafs have made the playoffs in the last 45 years. (I think, it's gotta be close if not.... ) Your stats are a little off but that's ok..... The most the Canucks have been is a bridesmaid...so fans can make fun of Toronto all they want....Leaf fans can dry their tears with the multiple cup banners hanging from the rafters.

Ahh yes, but not one since expansion. You can't compare the cups the Lafs have won before the Canucks even existed. You can only compare them for the time they have both been in the league. If you look at that, the Canucks are the far more successful team. As great as the teams of the original six league were, their accomplishments since expansion are what they have to be judged on now and really, Detroit and Montreal are the most successful since then. The Lafs have been just that, the Lafs.

BartSimpson BartSimpson: I'm finally having fun as a Sharks fan! Take hope, every team who has beaten the Canucks in the last three playoffs, won the Stanley Cup.

No.... at least the Nucks make the playoffs far more than once a decade... But saying the Canucks suck cause they haven't won a cup by those who have not won one since long before the Nucks came into the league, that's just silly.

Vancouver vs San Jose
Game 4
The Vancouver Canucks will look to avoid being swept for the fourth time in franchise history when they face the San Jose Sharks in Game 4 at the HP Pavilion at San Jose.
The Canucks got one step closer towards packing it up for the season on Sunday dropping a 5-2 decision in Game 3 to put them on the brink of elimination. A win tonight would mean the Canucks have a chance to host at least one more game in front of their fans on Thursday at Rogers Arena. A loss would send the Canucks into their summer vacation.
Vancouver has lost four straight playoff games dating back to last year and now have just one playoff win in their last 10 outings dating back to the 2011 Stanley Cup Final. They also have just one playoff win on the road in their last six outings.
The Canucks have been swept three times in team history in best-of-seven playoff series. The last time they failed to win even a single game in a best-of-seven series was back in their 2001 Western Conference quarterfinal series against the eventual Cup champion Colorado Avalanche.
The Canucks held a sparsely attended optional practice yesterday with little in the way of lineup news emerging from the session, including which goaltender - Cory Schneider or Roberto Luongo - would be tapped to get the start in perhaps the final game of the year.
Sunday's game marked the third time this season that Canucks G Cory Schneider has surrendered five goals in a game. The other two times he did so, he responded by posting victories in his next two consecutive outings.
The five goals the Canucks gave up on Sunday were the most in a single playoff game since the Bruins beat them for that same total in Game 6 of the 2011 Stanley Cup Final.
Tonight's game faces off at 7 pm PT and can be seen on TSN.

BartSimpson BartSimpson: I'm finally having fun as a Sharks fan! Ever since their first appearance in the playoffs when they just managed to sneak into the 8th spot, and then defeated the Big, bad Red Wings in 4 straight, they have rather consistently shown themselves to be a very tough playoff team. The bastards.
