Hi Everyone, new to Alberta and looking for used car to buy.
There are a lot of dealerships in town but I prefer private sales (avoid the taxes!!) so I have been looking for classifed websites and found that Canadatrader is probably the biggest one with most selections but also found some smaller ones like

www.icex.ca
www.motoseller.com

icex.ca has some local dealerships onboard with them and it is one nice looking website but I dont know if they are legit?

any other suggestions on where else I should look?

http://www.autotrader.ca from the buy&sell is the way to go. Or maybe even try craigslist.

I found my new (to me) car via this site last month!

Free to post and reply. Also allows you the option of leaving your contact info for all to see, or (ALSO FREE) people may reply via a private email to the site, that you may check.
