Still cold with a nasty wind chill here in the Fraser Valley. A snowstorm is expected tonight followed by a heavy bout of freezing rain Friday night into Saturday. So it could get really ugly here in an around Vancouver the next few days.

I'm all stocked up and ready for Armageddon... we're getting a lot of snow starting in about 15 minutes (I just checked the RADAR) and close to triple digit winds, and maybe rain and freezing rain and then very cold.
I forgot the storm surge.

A bit more snow overnight and snowing lightly now. They are forecasting it to turn to ice pellets then rain later today as it warms up to 0.
We did a few errands yesterday close to home and have no reason to go out so we won't!

Rain. Just typical, glorious, mild Vancouver rain that is successfully washing away the snow, ice and slush from whatever the fuck that was that hit us earlier in the week. Such a relief to be back to normal. A few more days of this ahead.

Mild. -5 today. But heavy fog the last couple days. Bad air quality too, as the weather system that is bringing in the fog is also a super low pressure system and there is no air movement. So all the buildings and running cars just fill up the airspace with junk.

Not too bad at all for January around here. It's been a mix of sun/cloud/rain lately but mild temps in the 7-10C highs and staying above 0C for lows. More of the same for the rest of the week.

Looks to go into the minus teens by the weekend. Not the Polar Vortex they were predicting. That's headed to Eastern provinces.
