We have "Black History Month" we have Gay Pride Week, we have Aboriginal Day, we have International Womens' Day and yet *****Mod Edit ****** Streaker can insult our Vets on the ONE day of the year we pay tribute. *****Mod edit *****. It's because of spineless KSer's like you that Vets have suffered enough. You'd rather pay a welfare *****Mod Edit***** than support those that fought for our freedoms. *********Mod Edit ******** You'd demean those that lived in ditches to prevent Hitler form advancing Nazism and killing innocents and slur those that fought against YOUR
idiology.
You fool NO ONE. May you reap what you sow child, ten times over and for a lifetime.
Opps sorry Trev, did I offend one of the "Chosen" on this forum? If so great. I like YELLOW.
Tomorrow I shall honour those that died for my freedoms, as a female I find this white poppy thing disgusting and shameful. A passive attitude is pityful, where would we be if the Streakers *****mod edit******idiology was the accepted norm?
He did this on purpose, *******Mod Edit ****** No honour, integrity and ethos.
hwacker, I'm ten times worse in real life ******Mod Edit ********

Remember those who did have to sacrifice their lives so we don't have to and hope for a peace that will ensure no one else will have to make those choices and sacrifices in the future.

Streaker Streaker: The ones who have effectively pushed their agenda are the Legion, considering that they got the sale of white poppies banned, among other things. Some freedom they were fighting for. Time for some pushback, and the piece by Graham Lettner makes a good starting point.
What an asinine comment. They were the ones who made the sacrifces and choices you don't have to make(thank Christ). This is their day, a time to remember those soldiers who gave their lives and blood.

The deleted portions were simple crude shots at a member. They don't concern you in any way.
I seriously recommend that in the future you consider using the fine "private message" feature of this site for such a request.

I'll start wearing a white poppy when they start to grow that way in Flanders field.

Streaker Streaker: [ Good words, BB, but I won't be wearing a red poppy again - after reading how the Legion threatened legal action against a shop selling white poppies it won't be getting any more dough from me.
Streaker...why are you always so negative.
Cannot you you find anywhere in your cold heart the means to honour the vets who gave you the freedom to to be such a miserable person.

About "lives being lessened," of course they were lessened, that's why we have the day. If war were some jollity where everyone came back enlightened and better, there would be no need for remembrance day.
Fact isn't always a utopian wonderworld.
