No. It is tasteless because if it happened here we definately wouldn't do this. This thread started off serious but turned into a joke but the subject itself is definately not funny.

A girl who was shot by the gunman died about 4:30 p.m. (6:30 p.m. ET) at the hospital after a helicopter transported her there, said Bev Lilly, a spokeswoman for St. Anthony Central Hospital in Denver.

Police said earlier they believed the girl was 16. She was shot as police stormed the room where the gunman was holding hostages, police said. The gunman then shot himself.

The radio said the girl died.

Stopping it may be impossible I've seen programs initiated so well in schools but later that evening a group walks into the victims house and does the crime . When someone is vigil there is no stopping them . Speaking out about suspicions is the best there is .

How about rescinding no fault divorce so children can grow up in stable 2 parent families?

How about ending government support programs and downloading the responsibilities back onto the community groups, churches and private citizens. Maybe then there will be a renewed community spirit.

How about allowing parents to discipline their children without interference from the state?

How about punishing at best, stigmatizing at worst, the parents of children who offend?

How about scrapping the YOA or whatever stands for it these days?

How about refocusing the education system from girl friendly?

How about reintroducing the words Honour, Integrity, and Chivalry back into society?

How about easing the tax burden so it is viable for one parent to stay at home and well…parent?

There are thousands of ways but unfortunately they take effort and Canadian society is not quite at the point were they are willing to address them.
