The Alberta government has pulled $122 million in funding for a new disaster response headquarters, despite two reports calling for a modern facility in the aftermath of massive provincial disasters.

    Ahh, here we go again, replacing the financial deficit to an infrastructure deficit.

    I've been to the provincial operations centre and it is cramped, outdated, and barely capable of functioning during a crisis. It needs to be replaced sooner rather than later.

    Don't forget lots of trips to nice places with five star hotels, all paid for by Alberta taxpayers.
